Thank You, Thank You, Thank You
The 2018 Iron Strokes Tournament could not have been a success without your help and support. Thank you to all the sponsors, volunteers, and donors from the bottom of our heart. The money you raised will help students displaced from Hurricane Florence. We hope to see you again next year, for the second annual event!
About the Tournament
The 2018 Iron Strokes Golf Tournament raised money for the Carteret County Public School Foundation. Held at Star Hill Golf Course, the tournament featured over 80 golfers. It was a “Captain’s Choice” tournament, with four-person teams. Captain’s Choice is similar to the “scramble” format, except a designated team captain picks the best ball played every stroke.
Crystal Coast Strength and Conditioning along with its partners are dedicated to the ongoing improvement and excellence of our public school system and community. All event proceeds were tax deductible and benefit the Carteret County Public School Foundation.
What Your Contributions Accomplished
Proceeds from the 2018 Iron Strokes supported the Carteret County Public School Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to supporting students, educators, and classrooms in Carteret County. Funds from the 2018 tournament went to help students displaced from Hurricane Florence. The CCPSF also uses monies raised to provide teachers with classroom supplies and training, provide laptops, carts and printers for classrooms, and provide general support to the Carteret County Educational System.
